Meet our general manager Amanda Gunner

Amanda is a registered nurse, specialist practitioner District Nurse, Advanced nurse practitioner and an Independent Prescriber. Her career has been mainly in the community, working as a District Nurse, Community Matron for Residential and Nursing Homes and as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She has developed new services within the community and received the title of Queens Nurse for development of an ANP led service for Nursing and residential homes which assesses unwell residents, diagnosing and prescribing to prevent unnecessary GP call outs and hospital admissions.

Amanda has worked several years as a home manager improving standards and developing staff to be their best, she feels there is nothing more rewarding than working in a ‘homely home’. Amanda is proud to make a difference to people’s lives by providing quality person centred care.
