Short Stay or Respite Care
A short stay at Rashwood can provide reassurance and professional support when a family carer needs a break, or when someone requires additional care while recovering from an operation, illness or hospital stay.
Respite care can also be a helpful way to experience life at Rashwood before considering a permanent move. Short-stay residents receive the same personalised care as those living with us long term, with full access to our facilities, activities and welcoming community.
Residential Care
Residential care at Rashwood offers the reassurance of professional support being available 24 hours a day, within a safe, welcoming and supportive community. Many residents continue to lead active and fulfilling lives while benefiting from care tailored to their individual needs.
Our team encourages residents to retain as much independence and mobility as possible. This may include enjoying activities at the home, visiting local shops and entertainment venues, or joining trips to places of interest.
Nursing Care
Alongside personal care, Rashwood provides expert nursing care 24 hours a day. Our experienced nursing team supports residents with a range of complex and long-term health needs, including chronic and terminal illnesses.
Care is tailored to each resident and regularly reviewed, helping them feel safe, comfortable and supported as their needs change.
End of Life Care
At Rashwood, we believe everyone has the right to comfort, dignity and the best possible quality of life. Our compassionate end-of-life care supports residents with terminal illnesses in calm and familiar surroundings.
Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, our experienced team focuses on managing pain and other symptoms while respecting each person’s individual wishes, needs and preferences.
