A short stay at The Cotswold Home can provide support for a variety of reasons. Whatever the reason for your stay, you’ll receive the same personalised care, attention and access to our facilities and activities as our permanent residents. For those considering joining us longer term, a short stay can also be a reassuring way to get to know our team and residents, while giving us the opportunity to get to know you.
Residential Care
Our residential care provides the reassurance of support being available 24 hours a day, while helping residents to retain as much independence, choice and control over their daily lives as possible.
We take the time to understand each resident’s individual routines, interests and preferences, providing personalised support within a safe, comfortable and welcoming community. Residents are encouraged to continue doing the things they enjoy, whether joining activities and outings, spending time with family and friends or simply enjoying life at their own pace.
Nursing Care
The Cotswold Home provides expert nursing care 24 hours a day from our team of fully qualified nursing professionals.
Working closely with local healthcare professionals, we provide personalised nursing support according to each resident’s individual needs. This can include support with long-term health conditions, post-operative recovery and more complex nursing requirements, alongside the everyday personal care, comfort and companionship that are central to life at our home.

Palliative Care
At The Cotswold Home, we provide compassionate end of life care focused on comfort, dignity and quality of life.
Our experienced team works closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to provide sensitive, personalised support according to each individual’s wishes and needs. This includes careful management of pain and other symptoms, alongside emotional support and reassurance during what can be a particularly difficult time for residents and those closest to them.
