Housekeeping Supervisor – 32.50 hours per week

£12.90 per hour plus excellent benefits (including training and career development opportunities, staff welfare and support and heritage working environment)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working Fulltime Housekeeping Supervisor, working 32.50hrs a week at Rush Court Care Home. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a prestigious Nursing and Residential home in Wallingford.

This role requires you to manage the provision of high standard cleaning and laundry services within the Home, which includes direct line management of Housekeeping and Domestic/Laundry Assistants, organising rotas and managing annual leave, carrying out and documenting supervision and appraisal meetings, ensuring staff are suitably trained to carry out their roles.

This will involve ensuring specified cleaning methods are observed and met and hygiene practices are followed at all times to prevent any cross infection.

To take a personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of Health & Safety policy and COSHH reporting any accidents and hazards. To provide Housekeeping and Domestic/Laundry Assistants with clear and accurate instructions and guidance, provide work schedules with specified time scales to complete whilst ensuring the team are able to respond to and meet residents’ requests.

On occasion, this will require the Housekeeping Supervisor to take a ‘hands on’ role in delivering the service, as and when required.
