A new manager for our Halliwell home

We are delighted to welcome Dr Emma Worrell as General Manager at our Tunbridge Wells home, Halliwell.

Following a distinguished career of over 30 years, Emma brings with her a wealth of experience in the NHS, having worked at Great Ormond Street, and the NHS Queen Victoria Hospital Foundation Trust in the field of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

In 2022 she started a ‘second career’ as a care home manager for Bupa Care Services, passionate about ensuring older people gain the upmost care and compassion.

“This is an exciting new chapter for me, and I delighted to join the team at Halliwell who are deeply committed to providing the highest levels of care,” Emma told us.  I hope to use all my knowledge and experience to expand on the Elizabeth Finn values of Bring Love, Welcome All, Inspire More and Act with Purpose.”

Emma prides herself on nurturing, mentoring and supporting her team, whilst keeping every resident centre stage. Her passion for enriching the lives of residents and her dedication to fostering a warm, welcoming environment align perfectly with the values of Elizabeth Finn Homes.

Halliwell, originally a private country residence, enjoys outstanding views across the stunning 78 acres and lake of Dunorlan Park. It offers 64 rooms ensuite rooms that provide nursing and residential care on a permanent or short-term basis, as well as end of life care.
