Chef – 20 hour (weekends)
Purpose of the Role:
To support the Catering Manager in delivering a high-quality, efficient food and beverage service to residents, patients, and staff—ensuring prompt, courteous service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cooking meals based on set menus, ensuring nutritional balance and presentation.
- Supervise and train junior catering staff in food preparation, hygiene, and safety procedures (including COSHH).
- Maintain accurate stock records, check deliveries, and ensure proper storage and rotation of food supplies.
- Support the overall catering operation to meet health and safety standards and deliver excellent customer service.
