Welcome to Rashwood care home. I’m Rachel, our General Manager and a Registered Nurse with over 35 years’ experience in care. Together with our dedicated team, I’m proud to create a warm and supportive home where every resident is treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

Originally known as Rashwood Court, the house was built in the 1920s and retains many of its original features. The main house has been thoughtfully extended, with two attractive courtyards, while the former coach house and chauffeur’s cottage provide additional facilities.
Today, Rashwood combines the character of a country house with the comfort and accessibility of a modern care home. There are 53 light, comfortable bedrooms, many with views across the gardens or courtyards, together with inviting shared spaces where residents can relax, dine and spend time with family and friends.

The spacious living areas include a welcoming dining room overlooking the central garden, an adjacent sitting room and a self-contained bar with its own patio. Residents can also enjoy our well-stocked library and bright conservatory.
All 53 bedrooms have en suite facilities, fully assisted bathrooms and wheelchair access. Light and comfortable, the rooms also offer direct access to the patio areas.
Rashwood also has a fully equipped hairdressing salon for residents to enjoy.
