Short Stay Care
A short stay at The Lodge offers all the comfort, care and support of living with us permanently, for as long as it is needed.
People choose short stay care for many different reasons. It may provide additional support while recovering following an operation or illness, offer a period of convalescence, or give a family carer the opportunity to take a well-earned break.
Whatever brings you to The Lodge, you will receive the same personalised care, access to our facilities, dining and activities, and warm welcome as every resident in our home.
Residential Care
Residential care at The Lodge provides the reassurance of professional support available 24 hours a day, while helping residents maintain as much independence, choice and freedom as possible.
Our team takes the time to understand each resident’s routines, interests and preferences, providing personalised support where it is needed while encouraging people to continue doing the things they enjoy.
Residents can take part in activities, entertainment and outings, spend time with friends and family, enjoy our gardens and communal spaces, or simply choose how they would like to spend their day.
Nursing Care
The Lodge provides professional nursing care 24 hours a day for residents who require additional medical support alongside assistance with everyday living.
Our qualified nursing team works closely with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals to provide care tailored to each individual’s needs. This can include support with ongoing health conditions, recovery following an operation or illness, and more complex nursing requirements.
Care is regularly reviewed and adapted as needs change, providing residents and their families with the reassurance of experienced nursing support within the comfortable and familiar surroundings of our home.
Palliative Care
At The Lodge, our palliative and end of life care is centred around comfort, dignity and the individual wishes of each resident.
Our experienced team provides compassionate, personalised support for people living with life-limiting conditions, working closely with families and healthcare professionals to help manage symptoms and provide the appropriate care and support.
We understand that this can be an incredibly difficult time for residents and those closest to them. Our aim is to provide sensitive and respectful care in comfortable, familiar surroundings, while offering reassurance and support to families throughout.
