The Lodge offers 60 light and airy en-suite bedrooms, alongside welcoming lounges, quiet spaces and attractive communal areas where residents can relax, spend time with family and friends or enjoy the company of others. Large windows bring plenty of natural light into the home, with many spaces enjoying views across our beautifully landscaped gardens.

Outside, residents can enjoy established gardens and comfortable patio seating, providing peaceful places to take a stroll, enjoy the fresh air or simply sit and appreciate the changing seasons.

Spaces to enjoy at The Lodge

Dining

Restaurant-style dining is an important part of life at The Lodge, with freshly prepared meals served in our characterful vaulted dining room, originally an artist’s studio. Residents can also enjoy a change of scene in the Bistro, dine in their own room or, when the weather allows, eat outside.

The Lounges

Our two main lounges are welcoming social spaces at the heart of The Lodge. Large windows fill the rooms with natural light and provide attractive views across the gardens. Alongside our quieter lounge areas, they offer comfortable places to meet friends and family, enjoy activities and entertainment, or simply relax.

Bedrooms

Our 60 comfortable en-suite bedrooms are light and airy, with large windows and neutral décor providing residents with a welcoming private space of their own. Bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and have fully assisted en-suite bathroom or wet-room facilities, combining comfort with the practical support residents may need.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with familiar belongings, photographs and treasured possessions to make it feel truly their own.

The Libary

For residents looking for somewhere a little quieter, our Library provides a peaceful retreat away from the main communal areas. With a selection of books and board games available, it is a comfortable space to read, enjoy a puzzle or simply spend some quiet time relaxing.

Reception

Situated just off the main hall, our Reception provides a warm welcome to residents, families and visitors arriving at The Lodge. As a central point within the home, our team is always on hand to provide information, answer questions or simply enjoy a friendly catch-up.

The Conservatory

Light and spacious, our Conservatory offers a relaxing place to sit with friends and family, read the newspaper or enjoy views of the courtyard. Opening directly onto the outside space, it helps residents enjoy a connection with the gardens and changing seasons whatever the weather.

Garden and Grounds

The Lodge is set within an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, providing residents with attractive outdoor spaces to enjoy throughout the year. Accessible pathways and seating areas offer plenty of opportunities for a gentle stroll, time with visitors or simply sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air and changing seasons.

The Patio

Our accessible patio provides another inviting outdoor space for residents to enjoy during the warmer months. Leading directly from the Conservatory, it is an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of tea, read a book, spend time with family and friends or simply relax in the sunshine.
