Accommodation at The Lodge
The Lodge has 60 en suite bedrooms and provides both residential and nursing care, on a permanent or short stay basis, as well as offering end of life care.
Ideally located close to the centre of Exeter with attractive gardens, The Lodge provides light and airy accommodation with large windows looking out onto the grounds. The patio area offers comfortable outdoor seating for warmer months and there are beautiful landscaped gardens to enjoy all year round, providing a pleasant place to stroll and enjoy the fresh air.

Spaces to enjoy at The Lodge
Dining
Restaurant-style dining is a feature of life at The Lodge with meals ordered at the table.
Our chefs take pride in their cooking and use fresh seasonal ingredients where possible.
Our menus can be adjusted to meet specific dietary needs and residents are welcome to entertain guests and our chefs can produce tailor-made menus for special occasions.
Meals can be enjoyed in the vaulted dining room, originally an artists’ studio, in the resident’s room or outside when weather permits. Alternatively, for a change of scene, residents can dine in the Bistro.
The Lounges
The two social lounges at The Lodge are the hub of the home and are flooded with natural light offering views across the gardens. The peaceful Reading Room, and other lounge areas, provide quiet environments to sit and enjoy. Events with the local community help make The Lodge a vibrant place to live.
Bedrooms
Our comfortable and spacious rooms are light and airy with large windows and neutral decor. All rooms are ensuite and equipped with fully assisted bathrooms and wet rooms and are wheelchair accessible.
The Libary
The Library is a quiet space perfect for time away from the main lounge areas. A wide selection of books and board games are available.
Reception
Located off the main hall, a warm welcome is guaranteed, the place for answers to questions and general information or a friendly catch up. As the first point of contact for visitors and family members, we are on hand to help.
The Conservatory
Our light and spacious Conservatory is the perfect place to sit and chat or read the paper. An addition to the original building, it opens out onto the courtyard area and helps bring the outdoors in, whatever the weather.
Garden and Grounds
The Lodge stands in an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens, with plenty of walkways and seating to enjoy the fresh air and changing seasons. The grounds are easily accessible for wheelchairs.
The Patio
Our lovely patio is the perfect place to take tea or sit and read when the weather permits. Easily accessible via patio doors from the conservatory area.
