Accommodation at Rashwood

Rashwood offers timeless elegance with all of today’s modern amenities. With 53 rooms, many are en suite or have wet rooms and are equipped with fully assisted bathrooms and are wheelchair accessible. Light and cosy, the rooms have direct access onto the patio areas.

The main living areas offer plenty of space for everyone, whether that be in our lovely dining room overlooking the central garden, the adjacent sitting room, or our self-contained Bar with its own patio area, known at Peacocks. In addition, residents have use of our well-stocked library and conservatory.

The gardens are truly magnificent with water features, mature trees, patios, a summer house and plenty of lovely places to sit and enjoy the beauty of it all.

Spaces to enjoy at Rashwood

Reception

A warm welcome awaits you in our modern, spacious reception area. There is a comfortable sitting area for visitors and our receptionist is on hand to answer any questions.

Our own Rashwood shop is located just off reception stocked with everyday essentials, books and gifts.

Dining Room

Our attractive dining room is accessed via the Sitting Room, light and airy and with warm decor, the room is laid out in tables of four.

We offer restaurant-style dining with meals ordered at the table from a varied menu with plenty of options. Our chefs take pride in their cooking and use fresh seasonal ingredients where possible. Our menus can be adjusted to meet specific dietary needs and residents can take meals in their own rooms or outside when weather permits.

Residents are welcome to entertain guests and our chefs can produce a tailor-made menu for special occasions.

Bar

Our self-contained bar is fully stocked and the perfect place to meet fellow residents before or after dinner. It’s a cosy and comfortable place with patio doors out onto the Peacock patio area with outdoor seating for warm, summer evenings.

Conservatory

Located just off the bar area our pretty conservatory has large windows with views on all sides looking out over the gardens and adjacent to the Peacock Patio. Comfy rattan furniture makes it a great spot to sit and relax.

Library

Our library room is a real hideaway, comfy leather seatings and lots of books.

Sitting Room

Our spacious Sitting Room opens into the Dining Area. Plenty of comfy chairs, a fireplace and an electric keyboard for the musically talented. There is direct access out onto the central garden area.

Hair Salon

On the ground floor of the new building, near to the bar and conservatory is our own Hair Salon, fully equipped to cater to all residents needs and with views out onto the gardens.

Bedrooms

We have 53 rooms in total all with ensuite facilities that are fully assisted.
We offer two types of bedrooms, which are set around our two patio areas. All rooms have direct access outside and have lots of direct light. Neutrally furnished with a television in each room.
