Canal Cruise

One of the joys of living in Harrogate is that we are on the edge of the old historic industrial heartland of Northern England. Residents of Hampden House enjoyed a leisurely cruise down part of the Leeds –Liverpool Canal which opened fully in 1816 and runs for 127 miles. It took us through the centre of mill towns and beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
