Residents enjoy lunch in the Secret Garden

Earlier this month residents at our Rashwood home had a real treat when they enjoyed a lovely picnic in our Secret Garden.

Originally known as Rashwood Court, the house was built in the 1920s, a well-appointed private residence covering six acres. Its magnificent grounds featured a Rockland Water Garden, tennis court, croquet lawn, swimming pool, stabling and coach house.

These beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces continue to be enjoyed today.  Our residents and staff are able to spend time in the lovely gardens and courtyards where there are plenty of perfect places for enjoying nature and the tranquil outdoors.

With warmer, more predicable weather, a picnic in the gardens was the perfect outing.  Our catering team put on a nutritious and tasty spread of picnic favourites which were greatly enjoyed by all. It was a very special occasion with smiles, conversation and lots offresh air all round.
