Suffolk Day celebrations

Suffolk day celebrations on Friday 21st June.

We where so lucky that after a week of wind and rain the longest day of the year dawned bright and beautiful and the big blue Suffolk skies smiled on us.

Residents and staff of Grove Court where joined by family and friends and representatives from Rock Barracks and Parachute Engineer Regiment, which really added to the feeling of it being a special day.

We reckon about 180 people enjoyed a magnificent Suffolk Hog Roast, super salads and puds and local folk band Ship Shape’s music. A perfect way to celebrate all that’s great about living in Suffolk!
