Meet our general manager Mary Maughan

Mary is a dual-qualified general and mental health nurse with over 35 years of experience across the NHS and social care sector. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) since 1985, Mary progressed into senior leadership roles within both physical and mental health services before moving into residential and nursing care.

Alongside her nursing career, Mary achieved a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences, an MSc in Policy and Administration, a Master of Laws (LLM), and a Leadership in Management Certificate. Her experience spans dementia care, adult home care, learning disabilities and mental health services, where she has always been passionate about delivering high standards of compassionate, person-centred care.

Mary is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents, families and staff feel valued and supported. She leads with kindness, integrity and a genuine passion for enhancing quality of life and wellbeing for every person in her care.
