I’m incredibly proud of our caring and dedicated team and the warm, welcoming environment we create together. We take the time to get to know each resident as an individual, ensuring they feel supported, valued and truly at home.

Welcome to The Lodge
The Lodge is a welcoming care home in Exeter, providing high-quality residential care, nursing care, short stays and end of life care within the characterful surroundings of a beautiful Victorian villa.
Built in the 1880s and located on Spicer Road, close to Exeter city centre, The Lodge combines the warmth and individuality of a traditional home with the comfort, facilities and professional support our residents need.
Our 60 en-suite bedrooms offer comfortable private spaces, while our inviting lounges, dining areas and gardens provide plenty of opportunities to relax, socialise and enjoy daily life. Whether joining us permanently or for a short stay, every resident is supported by our experienced team with care tailored to their individual needs, preferences and routines.
The Lodge combines the character and elegance of a Victorian home with modern facilities, comfortable surroundings and a comprehensive range of care services and amenities designed to support residents’ individual needs and lifestyles.

The Lodge
Living in Comfort at The Lodge
The Lodge combines the elegance and character of a Victorian villa with comfortable, thoughtfully designed spaces where residents can relax, socialise and feel at home.
Our 60 light and airy en-suite bedrooms provide comfortable private spaces, while welcoming lounges, a peaceful reading room and library offer plenty of choice throughout the day. Many of the home’s original Victorian features have been carefully retained, bringing character and individuality to its warm and homely surroundings.
Outside, our beautifully landscaped gardens provide peaceful spaces to enjoy the fresh air, take a gentle stroll or simply sit and watch the changing seasons.
