Grove Court honoured with two accolades at Golden Hearts Awards

Grove Court won two awards at our Golden Hearts Awards event on 3rd September.

Care Assistant, Jules Cochrane, was presented with the silver award by Stephen Hall, Editor of Care Home Professional. Selected by the panel of judges from all the quarterly winners across the year, Jules was praised for her natural ability to “bring love” into everything she does.

Radiating warmth, and putting colleagues and residents at ease, Jules helps everyone feel they belong. Often complimented for her work ethic, can-do mindset and professionalism, but above all it is her laughter and love that stands out.

Grove Court also received the Home of the Year Award, presented by Tom Lawson, Chair of the Board of Elizabeth Finn Homes, and CEO of Turn2us. Tom had this to say about Grove Court:

“This home is somewhere truly special. Set in beautiful gardens, it feels less like a care home and more like one big family, where residents are known, loved and encouraged to live life on their own terms. It’s a true community, and one which loves to party. This year, it retained its Outstanding CQC rating, achieved a perfect 10/10 on carehome.co.uk and received end-of-life care accreditation. From sailing wishes and Wild Tots visits to garden parties, music and restaurant-style dining, life here is full of warmth, friendship and fun. At its heart is an experienced, devoted team who make every resident feel they truly belong, and are phenomenal role models and champions of each and every one of our values.

Congratulations to Jules and to the whole Grove Court team.
